Our unique helical piles installation equipmentsare designed to minimize the damages done to your garden.

No waiting, once the pier is installed, you are able to build your dreams on it.

The Techno Metal Post is like an oversized screw with one or multiple helixes. It's made of a central shaft and one or more circular helical steel blades welded at the bottom.

The central shaft is a structural steel pipe which has diameter ranging from 1.5" to 6" and wall thickness range between .145 and .280 in.

The blades that carry the charge are helix shaped with a carefully controlled pitch. They are available in diameters from 6" up to 24".

The specially designed hydraulic machines (29" wide for R2D-Post the smaller one) screws a structural steel "helical pile" into the ground at a minimum depth of 7'.

Where ground movements caused by frost and thaw exists, our Techno Sleeve is simultaneously inserted with the Techno Metal Post. This exclusive polyethylene sleeve isolates the pile and prevents its exposure to annual frost heave and drought in the surrounding soil.

Engineered & Certified in North America

The Techno Metal Posts are proudly manufactured in our North America plants using quality materials that comply with the following standards:

Steel: conforms to the norm ASTM A500 grade C and CAN/CSA-G40.21-97,

Heat galvanization: conforms to the norm CSA-G164M-92 with galvanization of at least 610 g/m2.

The structural capacity of the Techno Metal Post was designed and calculated to meet the requirements of the reference book Handbook of Steel Construction.

Our engineers and certified installers conducted numerous load tests and obtained the CCMC (Canada) and CSTB (France) in order to offer you a quality warranty.

Those tests were conducted according to the internationally recognized standards of the ASTM-D 1143 and the ASTM-D 3689 (deep foundations).

Also, Techno Metal Post is presently going through all laboratory and field tests to fulfill the AC358 (acceptance criteria for helical foundation systems adopted by International Code Council (ICC)).

These tests were conducted in various regions of the world. Therefore, the results allowed us to establish the load bearing capacity (compressive and tensile loads) of the Techno Metal Post in all types of soils.
